Many unauthorized retailers are pretending that they can sell our wheels. Their goal is to get a deposit from you and some even go as far as selling fake D’Vinci Wheels to unsuspecting customers.

The scam usually involves the consumer sending money via check, money order and other forms of cash payment. Once the money is received, the unauthorized dealer, does not come thru and does not deliver the wheels, for reason such as: ”The wheels are out of stock, discontinued, will not fit your car…”etc. Then the consumer is asked to pick a different brand or pay a cancellation fee. We have seen cancellation fees as high as 30%, which is usually the same amount of the original deposit.
